Kate van Putten grew up in the Sandveld region of South Africa’s west coast. She first started working with porcelain in 2000 while studying under Ralph Johnson in Paarl. She specialises in hand drawn and carved porcelain pieces, that have sold as far afield as the Netherlands and Australia. She lives in Paarl were she runs her studio.
